Paradise Circus

Paradise Birmingham is to be transformed into a vibrant mixed use development of commercial, civic, retail, leisure and hotel space, providing major improvements to pedestrian access and greatly enhanced public realm befitting this exemplary historic setting.

I have been responsible for carrying out Cat III Assessment Check of the Queensway & Ratcliffe Tunnels for the temporary and permanent case due to the construction of the new Paradise Development above (Phase I and II). The purpose of these checks was to confirm that the tunnels have sufficient capacity to withstand the temporary effects from the demolition plant and the permanent effects from the proposed building foundations
