Barts Square Redevelopment

Developer Helical Bar obtained planning consent for its £165m Bart's Square residential-led mixed-use scheme near Smithfield in London. The scheme involves the comprehensive redevelopment of 19 buildings to provide 236 residential apartments, two office buildings of 230,000 sq ft and 23,500 sq ft. There will also be 21,800 sq ft of retail/restaurant use as well as major public realm improvements.

As part of my invovement in the project I have undertaken ground movement analysis and building impact assessment to existing utilities, adjacent building properties and retained facades. I have also undertaken Cat II independent check of highway supporting structures (substructure of single level basement) for Albion Way and Middlesex Passage as part of the scheme.
